Our Terms and Conditions…

The owners of rabbits require an up to date vaccination certificate against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagi Disease VHD (Nobivac) & RVHD2 (Filavac) to be accepted. The certificate must be presented at the beginning of each visit, Woodside reserve the right to refuse boarding where certificates are not present.  Vaccinations to have been administered 2-3 weeks prior to arrival. 


Pets must be transported in a suitable, strong carrier.  Failure to do so is at the owner’s risk.


Your pet(s) may be inspected on arrival and the proprietor has the right to refuse admission to any pet showing signs of ill-health (i.e Rabbits with upset tummy).


If your pet needs medication or a special diet, this is to be provided by the owner.  We are happy to dispense medication free of charge.  Please ensure you bring enough medication or special food for the duration of their stay.


Owners agree in the case of suspected illness for a vet to be contacted (local to Woodside) should their pet fall ill during their stay and owners are responsible for any veterinary fees that are incurred.  The owner gives consent for euthanasia should this be recommended on humane grounds by the vet caring for the pet in consultation with the owner and their own vet and emergency contact person.


Only pets from the same household can share a chalet however the proprietor has the right to separate them if deemed necessary for their own safety.


Cancellation Policy – If a booking is cancelled with less than 7 days’ notice (14 days at Christmas) you will be charged at full rate.


Over-Runs – We will always try to be flexible and helpful to any customer faced with travelling delays or other unforeseen circumstances.  Should this occur while your pet is boarding you must contact us immediately so that arrangements can be made to ‘hold’ your pet until a collection can be made.  Woodside however is not able to care for abandoned pets or pets that are not collected at the agreed time without adequate explanation and therefore will no longer continue to house the pet and alternative arrangements will be made.  The current daily charge will be applied for each overdue stay.


Collections Earlier than the date on the booking form can be made but a reduction in charges may not be possible.


Woodside provides bedding material, food (*see note), fresh water, heating, toys etc. but you are very welcome to bring your pets own things.  All units are cleaned daily and disinfected between change over.  Love & cuddles are free.


*It is advisable to bring the brand of nuggets that your pet is used to so that they don’t get an upset tummy*




Payments are by cash, cheque (payable to Woodside Cattery) or BACS (Sort Code 40 22 09 Account No. 62551012) prior to or at time of collection. (No deposit necessary)


Cheque payments will incur and additional charge of £1.

Christmas Bookings – Full payment required 2 weeks prior to booking – non-refundable.
